How can you get help from someone on this issue...?

I just won a spot in an extremely prestigious seminar in new york city but i come from a very poor background and i live in a poor country, how can i get someone to sponsor my trip? i had no idea i was going to win this, because you must get nominated to do so but apparently someone did, it's a really big deal! so help please? i know many people waste their money on useless things and i'm sure there's people who sponsor kids for educational purposes but i have no idea how to get that for me. i would appreciate good answers nothing mean please! oh and i do have a small job and a bit of savings but those are not enough :( this opportunity means the world to me :( the seminar is educational, not for acting or modeling or anything. it's three intensive weeks of studying and college prep. basically, it's organized by colleges around the world and teachers have to nominate their best students, that's how i was chosen, that's why i had no idea and i still don;t know which one of my teachers nominated me but i got the call yesterday that i had one of the 30 spots given, because only 30 students from around the world can attend. i still have no idea which one of my teachers nominated me but it is a big deal and i would be the first one in my school to ever be a part of this :) so you must understand how important it is for me!
